 The last few years have seen a surge in activewear aimed specifically at women. Whether it’s high-tech sports bras or brightly-colored yoga pants, there’s a huge range out there that looks great. But did you know that the activewear you buy might not actually be good for your body? Women’s activewear needs to do more than just look pretty; it could  and should  support your body correctly, and make exercising easier. We all know that working out is good for us; it keeps our bodies functioning healthy, and can help to improve our mental wellbeing too. And, when you workout, you sweat.  Modern yoga as exercise has often been taught by women to classes consisting mainly of women. This continued a tradition of gendered physical activity dating back to the early 20th century, with the Harmonic Gymnastics of Genevieve Stebbins in America and Mary Bagot Stack in Britain. Clothes that are hard for women to wear

 Dressing well is a topic near and dear to my heart. It is something that I personally strive to do everyday because of how it makes me feel and the way that it jump-starts my day. Dressing well can be boiled down into two simple ideas. The first is the act of dressing and the second is the concept of doing something with intention and effort. In my opinion, anything worth doing is worth doing well. But what does doing something well actually mean?

When something is important, you take time to care for it. Every time that I take the effort to dress well, I am subconsciously telling myself that I matter and that my life is important. If you struggle with self-doubt, being too critical with yourself, or not feeling worthy of the blessings God has given you (things that I have often struggled with) then dressing well is a simple daily reminder that you have value beyond measure!

 A recent study in the American Journal of Human Biology verified that the immune system was inoculated with tattoos. There are two explanations for this. One is that immunoglobulin A is reduced less. The second is that getting a tattoo will induce an immune response.

Tattoos also stimulate and strengthen the immune response. When the immune system detects a foreign invader in your body it sends antibodies to attack them. This happens when you get a tattoo. Your body attacks the foreign invader (tattoo ink), which is why swelling can occur. Eventually your body accepts the ink and you begin to heal. Over this time the immune system becomes stronger through its efforts to combat the ink.
